RBS Training Options

These training modules are available as on-site classroom training or online training.

RBS certification is valid for three years, at which time a refresher training will need to be completed. Each person who successfully completes an RBS Training program will receive two forms of proof of completion:

A wallet card signed by the trainer for on-site trainings; a certificate of completion for online trainings.
An entry in the NDSC’s RBS Training database.

Basic Server Course

For those directly responsible for serving, preparing and monitoring the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Large Event Course

For those working large scale or special events.

Owner/Manager Course

For those directly responsible for serving, preparing and monitoring the sale of alcohol. The course includes information on providing a safe and legal environment in the alcohol service industry, as well as policies and service recommendations.
