OSHA mandates that a trained first responder must be present in high-risk industries where medical emergencies require immediate emergency response. Ensure compliance and prepare your workforce with this comprehensive course. Participants will learn: basic life support training commonly taught to health care workers and rescue professionals; how to control bleeding and manage shock; how to care for injuries and medical emergencies; advanced resuscitation techniques; remote-location first aid; and special situations such as behavioral emergencies, pregnancy and childbirth. Upon completion, receive a 2-year Advanced First Aid certificate.

Course is approved by the ND POST Board for continuing education credits.
