The completion of OSHA 510 course prior to registering for the OSHA 500 course and five years of construction safety experience. A bachelor’s degree or higher in occupational safety and health, a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation may be substituted for two years of experience. A prerequisite form must be completed online.
