What do you do at NDSC?
I serve as the Emergency Care Program Manager, overseeing a wide range of emergency care training programs, including CPR/AED/First Aid, Basic Life Support, Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens, Emergency Medical Response, Workplace Trauma and Triage, and Mental Health First Aid.

Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
Our mission matters deeply to me because I’m passionate about keeping people safe and preventing injuries. Strong training and a commitment to safe practices help ensure everyone gets home safely each day. Living on a family ranch reinforces this value for me — our top priority is that every family member ends the day safe, healthy, and injury‑free.

What are your hobbies?
I love doing anything outdoors – working in my yard and garden, just spending time with my family, camping, taking a drive out to the pastures to check on cattle – to name a few.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to Hawaii – to experience the beautiful islands and culture. I would also love to visit Ireland to see the rich history and culture there as well.

Favorite singer/band?
I have a very eclectic taste – some of my favorites are Phil Collins, Imagin Dragons, Garth Brooks, Bon Jovi, Sawyer Brown, Little Big Town, Adele, Eric Church, Pink….

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
That everyone lives by the golden rule – treat others as you would want to be treated.

What animal most closely matches your personality?
My husband says my personality is comparable to a grizzly bear — calm and purposeful most of the time, but if I’m provoked, your best strategy is to back away slowly and avoid sudden movements.

If you were a superhero, what would your powers be?
I’d love the ability to make laundry and dishes wash themselves and magically put themselves away — kind of like Beauty and the Beast, but with fewer musical numbers and more efficiency.
