Q: What makes you proud of this past year at NDSC? 

A: Hands down, our people. From our incredible staff to our members, community partners, and those who find ways to make not just their workplaces, but their communities safer. They’re the heartbeat of this organization. I’m constantly in awe of the relevant, passionate conversations I get to have every day about safety and the difference it makes. 

Q: How is NDSC evolving to meet changing needs? 

A: Safety never stands still. We’ve added new courses, strengthened our trainer team, and launched programs that address today’s challenges. Moving into a larger Fargo facility was a massive undertaking this year, but it’s already paying off by giving us exclusive, expanded training space and the ability to reach more people across eastern North Dakota. On top of that, we’ve built an incredible team of trainers and business development staff who bring fresh energy and expertise to that region. We’re positioning NDSC to meet the next generation of safety challenges head on. 

Q: What’s next for NDSC? 

A: We’re gearing up for our 53rd Annual Safety & Health Conference and continuing to grow partnerships across the state. Whether someone is attending advanced training or attending their very first safety class, we’re here to support the whole person, from when they start their day to when they return home to their families at night. That’s what safety is all about. 

Q: Any message for NDSC members and supporters? 

A: Thank you. You’re the reason we exist. Every class you take, every employee you train, every time you choose safety, you’re part of something bigger.
