What do you do at NDSC?
As a safety consultant at NDSC, I deliver safety training, support organizations with compliance, and provide guidance to help create safer work environments. My background includes safety training such as OSHA 10&30, Safeland, H2S, Frist Aid, CPR/AED, OBOW, Confined Space (and many more), along with experience in sales and consulting. I understand the importance of practical, effective safety solutions, and I am passionate about helping teams gain the skills and confidence they need to work safely everyday.
Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
I am passionate about safer workplaces and making sure we provide the training and the tools to ensure we set the people we are training up for success. Everyone deserves to go home safely at the end of the day, and that starts with education, awareness and a proactive safety culture. Supporting NDSC’s mission means I’m committed to helping build environments where safety is a priority, not an afterthought, and protecting lives and empowering people to do their best work as safely as possible.
What are your hobbies?
Outside of work I enjoy rollerblading. It’s a great way to stay active, clear my mind and enjoy the outdoors.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
As cliché as it sounds, if I could change one thing about the world it would be to create more love and understanding, and less violence. A kinder, more passionate world benefits everyone.
Biggest pet peeve?
When people chew with their mouth open. It’s a small thing, but it drives me crazy!
What is your biggest strength and your biggest weakness?
Strength: Problem solving under pressure, especially in fast paced environments where quick, effective decisions make a difference.
Weakness: I sometimes struggle with delegation. I am working on trusting others to help with those tasks and focusing on the bigger picture.
What store would you pick to max out your credit card?
Home Depot. There’s always another project on the list, and I love tackling them head on.
What is your biggest fear in life?
My biggest fear in life is anything happening to my kids. Their safety and well-being mean everything to me.
