Giving Hearts Day
This Giving Hearts Day, you have the power to turn generosity into prevention, and prevention into lives saved.
On February 12, your support of the North Dakota Safety Council Scholarship Fund helps ensure that critical safety training reaches the schools, organizations, and nonprofits who need it most but may not have the resources to access it.
In 2026, every dollar donated is reinvested directly back into North Dakota communities through scholarships for safety education and training.
At the NDSC, our mission is simple but powerful: prevent injuries and deaths at work, on the road, and at home. Yet too many organizations face real barriers to safety training due to cost. That’s where you come in.
Here’s how you can help:
- Give early: Donations are open now—start making an impact today
- Give on Giving Hearts Day (February 12): Visit GivingHeartsDay.org and select the North Dakota Safety Council
- Spread the word: Share our mission with colleagues, friends, and family to multiply the impact
Thank you for believing in safety, education, and the power of prevention. Together, we can turn Giving Hearts Day into Saving Lives Day.
At the North Dakota Safety Council, we focus on eliminating the leading causes of preventable injuries and deaths. Through safety training, presentations, and resources, we reach more than 50,000 people annually, helping them work, play and live safer, longer lives.
The North Dakota Safety Council, Inc. is a 501(c)3 private non-profit under Federal ID Number 45-0353009. We have been in operation since 1961 and are one of 21 chapters of the National Safety Council. We are board-governed and are subject to a full external audit annually. All donations received are fully deductible to the extent allowable by U.S law.
When you donate to the North Dakota Safety Council, we’ll put your money to good use. We are continually launching new programs such as agriculture safety training, respiratory protection, school violence prevention courses, and driving for repeat offenders – among many others. Launching these courses takes time and resources. Donate today to help us prevent injuries and deaths, and keep families whole.
