Defensive Driving Course – Online

This online Defensive Driving Course is approved for an insurance discount and point reduction* in North Dakota. Learn practical strategies to reduce collision-related injuries, fatalities and costs. DDC online addresses the importance of attitude in preventing collisions and reinforces the good driving skills you already have. Train any size group – even drivers at remote locations, at their own pace, anywhere a PC and an Internet connection are available. Take it when and where it works for you!

Course Length: Online at your own pace, approximately 5 hours.

*If your license is NOT issued by the North Dakota Department of Transportation, please contact your state DOT to see if this course qualifies in your state.

***If court ordered to attend a Defensive Driving Course, please contact a court representative to confirm that an online course will fulfill your requirements with the court as most courts require attendance in a classroom setting.

If you take this course for a point reduction on your ND license, it is your responsibility to send your certificate of completion to the ND Department of Transportation. To receive a three-point reduction on your present North Dakota driving record, mail or email a copy of your certificate (you MUST handwrite your driver’s license number on your certificate of completion) to the Drivers License Division.
