National:

• As of December 18, 2025, 1,292 children were successfully recovered through the AMBER Alert system.
• 241 children were rescued because of wireless emergency alerts.
• There are 81 AMBER Alert plans throughout the United States.

North Dakota:

• The North Dakota AMBER Alert program was implemented in 2002, and the SILVER Alert program was implemented in 2018.
• Statistics show the first 3 hours after a child’s abduction are most critical to recovery efforts.
• In 2024, nine people were located before activation and three were found safely after
• Since its inception, ND has not experienced a Silver Alert in which the individual was not found.
