What do you do at NDSC?
I’m the Administrative Coordinator. My day consists of checking people in for testing and proctoring those tests, answering phone calls and emails to the organization, and reconciling class paperwork.

Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
Job safety is something that I have always been big on. I am happy to be part of an organization that serves the people and strives to keep them safe.

What are your hobbies?
I spend most of my free time playing and practicing as many instruments as I can. Most of my time is spent playing guitar and piano. I also like going for walks around town.

Name one really interesting thing about yourself.
It’s a little strange, but I always need to know which way North is. Whenever I’m traveling, I frequently pull out the compass on my phone. I feel uncomfortable if I don’t know which direction I’m facing.

What other talents do you have?
I can play just about any instrument at least a little bit. I’m not very good at most, but I know how to get a sound out of them.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be and why?
I can’t think of one specific place, but right now my dream vacation would be travelling around rural Switzerland and Italy.

Favorite singer/band/song?
My favorite band is The Paper Kites. My favorite song is one of theirs called ‘Bloom’.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I would make travel cheaper. I would love to travel the world and learn as much as I can about a wide variety of cultures.

What animal most closely matches your personality?
I’ve been told I have the personality of a dog. I would like to think I’m pretty similar to an Australian Shepherd.

What store would you pick to max out your credit card?
An online music store called Sweetwater.

What’s on your bucket list?
My biggest dream in life is to visit all 7 continents and as many major islands as I can, such as New Zealand, Madagascar, Japan, the U.K., Iceland, etc.

What is your favorite movie, book and TV show?
My favorite movie is ‘La La Land’; I really love the music and the emotional ending. My favorite book is ‘Ender’s Game’; It was an option for a required reading assignment in high school. I wasn’t expecting to like it, but it was very good. My favorite TV Show is ‘Community’; I love the humor in it and the creators’ unique twist on the sitcom genre.
