What do you do at NDSC?
Workplace Program Manager. Responsible for scheduling public and private occupational safety courses throughout the state, as well as into other states as needed. I have a bachelors degree in business administration from the University of Mary. I have been an event/conference planner for over 25 years and enjoy working with people from all walks of life. You learn so much from people, and my job allows me to network with a diverse group of people. I also lead the wellness committee, which is a great passion of mine. Mental and physical health is such a big part of a person’s personal and professional life, and feel it is important to remind and provide people with activities, topics and incentives to maintain that healthy balance.
Why is NDSC’s mission to prevent injuries and save lives important to you?
My husband travels and my twin brother is a master electrician. Listening to their stories on the different people that do not follow our defensive driving laws or OSHA regulations in the workplace, makes me want to reach out to companies and let them know all of the safety courses we offer to make their organizations a great place to work by following the safety guidelines that are available to them.
