School Violence Prevention

Attend this course to increase your level of safety and preparedness in the event of an emergency or violent act. Learn the history of mass shootings, lessons learned from each event, and if your school is at risk for violence. The instructor will cover predator recognition and observation techniques, staff and student preparedness suggestions, identification of internal and external threats, and the importance of developing an Emergency Response Plan. This course has been reviewed and approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and is recommended by the ND Department of Public Instruction.
