This course is required for all experienced sand and gravel miners and surface coal miners.

Requirements Needed Before You Attend This Course 

1. Attendees need to have their company provide their training plan to the NDSC; the attendee will not receive proof of course completion until this training plan has been provided to the NDSC. Please submit your company training plan to maryh@ndsc.org before you show up for the course. 
2. Attendees must also provide proof of completing a New Miner course to NDSC. If their New Miner is over 10 years old, they also need to provide a copy of a refresher completed within 10 years. If the attendee has been out of mining for 10 or more years or cannot supply the required documentation, they are required by MSHA to take New Miner rather than a Refresher. The attendee will not receive proof of course completion until these documents have been provided to the NDSC. Please submit your New Miner Certification to maryh@ndsc.org before you show up for the course.
