Trevor Skarphol was killed in a workplace incident in 2012. Since then his father, Jay Skarphol, has had many conversations with God asking why he took his son instead of him that fateful day. Jay has made it his mission to improve workplace safety in North Dakota through his role as a Safety Consultant with the NDSC.
“Each day is a gift, not a given right. If we all fully embrace this fact, we can make the right choices to help us WORK safely, DRIVE safely, and LIVE safely – every day.” – Jay Skarphol
Jay is one of many NDSC employees working tirelessly to end preventable injuries so no family has to endure the tragic loss of a loved one. But we can’t do it alone.
Will you stand with us on our mission to keep families whole?
