Spring Thaw 2020

Each year the North Dakota Safety Council hosts Spring Thaw, a full-day training event for both surface coal and sand & gravel operations.

We invite you to join us for this year’s Spring Thaw, scheduled for Monday, February 24 from 8am to 5pm. This event is being held in conjunction with our Annual Safety & Health Conference, which runs through Thursday at the Bismarck Event Center.

Our lineup includes a slate of courses that are not only beneficial to your safety staff, but to safety committee members, supervisors and front-line workers. The agenda includes the following topics:

  • Unleashing the Powers of a Super Instructor
  • How Personality Tendencies Influence Performance and Perceptions of Risk
  • Building an Integrated Approach to Health & Wellness
  • The Functioning Addict
  • MSHA Update

These discussions will be led by experts from Bismarck and around the country! Register now for this full-day gathering of mining operations, as we come together to share ideas and work toward a safer industry for all miners.

Registration Note: Registration is through the NDSC’s conference registration website. If you are only attending Spring Thaw and no other conference activities, simply select PRECONFERENCE ONLY.
