CPR/AED/First Aid, Adult, Train-the-Trainer
Course Length: Approximately 16 hours
Prerequisite – Trainer/company must be an NDSC member to participate.
During this two-day train-the-trainer course, you will learn new methods that involve, influence and facilitate adult learning while refining your teaching skills. The course covers a proven, standardized method of teaching first aid, CPR, and AED with high effectiveness, and you will be provided with the reasons and dynamics behind each topic or visual presentation. Course topics include: breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants and children; identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illnesses and injuries; preventing disease transmission; and an introduction to AEDs. Day one of the course will involve observing a full 5-hour CPR/AED/First Aid course, and on day two all students will make a practice presentation to the class.
Upon successful completion, you will become authorized to teach this course and receive the complete instructor resource package with the NSC First Aid, CPR & AED instructor manual, student workbook, DVD and instructor CD-ROM.

- Adult/child Manikins, 5-pack, 2 students per manikin, $415
- CPR/AED & First Aid Student Workbooks- includes the student workbook, First Aid Quick Guide, DVD refresher, and CPR/AED & First Aid certificates, 1 per student, $12.95
- AED practi-trainer- $159.99, 1 per class
- Student first aid kits- includes triangular bandages, gauze pads, gloves, roller bandage, 1 per student, $1.25
- Epi-pen trainer- $4.99, 1 per class
