Ceremony of Champions
Part of our Annual Safety & Health Conference closing luncheon

Applications for the Duane Kuehn Safety Professional of the Year and the Lifesaver Awards are now closed.

The Ceremony of Champions is open to anyone attending the NDSC’s Annual Safety & Health Conference at no additional charge. For those wishing to attend the Ceremony of Champions ONLY, tickets are $20 per person. To purchase tickets, please email ndsafetyconference@ndsc.org or call (800) 932-8890.

Lifesaver Award winners and one guest will not be charged to attend the event/luncheon.

 

Spring Awards Banquet
Promoting incident prevention by honoring exemplary safety performance for the year 2017.

All applications are due by Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were 38 workplace fatalities in North Dakota in 2014. Research proves lives can be saved and job performance improved through awards and recognition programs.

The NDSC’s Safety & Health Awards honor member companies with outstanding safety programs, employees with superior safety records, and those who have gone above and beyond to improve safety and health environments in their communities.

Duane Kuehn & Lifesaver Awards

The NDSC will present two of their most prestigious awards, Thursday, February 23, 2017 during the Ceremony of Champions, held in conjunction with the NDSC's 44th Annual Safety & Health Conference at the Bismarck Event Center:

  • Duane Kuehn Outstanding Safety Professional
  • NDSC Lifesaver

Applications for these awards were due January 6, 2017 and the winners will be notified in early February.

Spring Awards Ceremony
All other awards will be presented during the NDSC's 2017 Safety & Health Awards Luncheon taking place in Bismarck, Wednesday, April 12 from 12pm-1:15pm.

Individuals who earned their Advanced Safety Certificate in 2016 will also be recognized during the luncheon.

Application deadline is Friday, March 10 and winners will be notified in late March.

All award recipients were honored Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Spring Safety & Health Awards Ceremony. 89 awards were presented to 74 companies and individuals from around the region.
 
 
Outstanding Safety Professional & Lifesaver Award Recipients
The NDSC presented two of their most prestigious awards, Thursday, February 23, 2017 during the Ceremony of Champions, held in conjunction with the NDSC's 44th Annual Safety & Health Conference at the Bismarck Event Center.

At the spring awards banquet, 89 awards were presented to 74 companies for their safety accomplishments in 2016.

 
 
2017 Awards
The NDSC will present two of their most prestigious awards, Friday, February 23 during the Ceremony of Champions, held in conjunction with the NDSC's 45th Annual Safety & Health Conference at the Bismarck Event Center.
 
Download the applications below and submit your nominations today! Applications for the Duane Kuehn and Lifesaver awards are due January 5, 2018.

Submit completed nominations to ndsafetyconference@ndsc.org.

All other NDSC awards will be presented at the spring awards ceremony. Applications and ceremony details will be released at a later date.
