2010 Speech Contest
Train Crash
Don't let your or your friends become a statistic
There were 14 incidents in ND railways in 2008. These incidents resulted in 10 injuries and 3 deaths. 7 of these injuries and 2 deaths were because of people trespassing on railroad property. Do your friends understand the risks of trespassing?

The 2010 "Look, Listen & Live!" Speech Contest is a competition for students in grade 9-12 and a chance for your to display your public speaking and writing talents while explaining the importance of railroad safety to your peers. If you have completed an approved Drivers Education Program and have attended an Operation Lifesaver presentation, then enter today! If you haven't, click here to invite a presenter to your school!

This is your chance to be creative! You can partner with a friend or work individually to come up with a fun, interactive presentation that relays the message to your peers to look and listen when approaching the railroad tracks.
