Welcome to the North Dakota Safety Council!

The North Dakota Safety Council is a non-government, not for profit, membership supported organization dedicated to helping make our state a safer and healthier place to live. With nearly 900 member companies representing all sizes of all industries, the NDSC is an active participant in influencing safe work practices all across North Dakota. Our Mission is to create a safer and healthier environment throughout North Dakota.

Who the council serves:

Personal safety is of the utmost importance to you, your employees, customers and community. You want to count on a safe work environment in your workplace, on the roads and highways you travel, and in your home. But hazards still exist in all these places and accidents can occur,

North Dakota Safety Council exists because a need exists; the need to remedy the human and economic loss suffered in our communities as a result of accidents. The council's objective is to save lives and to reduce injuries and property loss throughout the state.

A private non-profit, educational organization founded in 1979, the North Dakota Safety Council is a chapter of the National Safety Council. Our goal is to prevent accidents by:

  • Creating a consciousness in peoples' minds about the danger and possibilities of accidents
  • Teaching people to recognize hazards
  • Instructing people in ways to deal with accidents and hazards; and
  • Providing information that will prepare people to properly respond to unsafe situations.

If you have any other questions or need additional information, please call, Fax, or email the North Dakota Safety Council.
